Nettie Ellis, 96, of Nederland passed away, Tuesday July 3, 2007 at a private health care facility in Groves.
Funeral services will be 10:00 Am Friday, July 6, 2007 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. Toney Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Ellis was a native of Shelby County and a longtime resident of Nederland. She retired after many years from Fred Miller’s. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Nederland, and a member of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Ellis is survived her step-son, Bobby Ellis and his wife Claudette of Groves; step-grandson, Blake Ellis and his wife Lori; niece Helen Stock and her husband Colby of Nederland; nephew, Robert Bradberry also of Nederland, great grandchildren Morgan and Jordan Ellis.
