Maudie “Gangy” Herrington, 76, of Kountze, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.
Her parents, Floyd and Nellie (Parks) Fuqua; and brothers, Carlton Fuqua and Eugene Fuqua preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, James Herrington, Jr.; daughter, Laquita Herrington Williams and her husband Bruce all of Kountze; grandchildren, Danielle Brown Deaton and her husband David, Jeramie Brown and his wife Amanda, Nikki Brown Winger, Jessie Williams and his wife Ashley, Nikki Williams Kinard and her husband Clayt, Holly Johns and her husband Chris, Trinity Herrington, Brett Herington and Cherish Herrington; great grandchildren, Trey, Taylor, Ashtyn DeRanda, Warren, Brenden, Paris, Weston, Kennedy, Melanie, McKenna, Skyler, Jordan, Kiley, Haley and two on the way.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2006 at Faith Tabernacle with burial to follow at Old Hardin Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007 at the church.
