Johnny Crawford Jr. 59, of Nederland passed, away Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at his residence in Nederland.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Broussard’s in Nederland, with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday at the mortuary. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Tamplin, Craig Crawford, Buddy Oliver, Horace Gesser, David Crawford, and Frenchy Guidry. Honorary pallbearers are Rodney Richard, Butch Richard, and Tommy Fenner.
Johnny was a native of Beaumont and lived all his life in Nederland. He retired from Sneed Shipyard in Orange as a ship fitter with several years of service.
Johnny is survived by his wife Paulette Crawford of Nederland; one daughter, Angela Tamplin and her husband Mark of Buna; one son, Craig Crawford and his wife Sonja of Friendswood; one brother, David Crawford of Houston; five grandchildren, Ty and Trent Tamplin, Dalton, Caiden, and Landon Crawford.
