John D Benton

I only met John D briefly at John David's wedding, viewed a few photo's with John and Kristy's visits, and talk to him twice on the phone. But that was enough to see John D loved hard. His love for Bridget and his childred was only the beganning. From my observation, his pride rested in those he treasured and held dear to his heart. This is evident in the smile you see in photos took with those he loved. I was so moved by the out pouring of honor payed to John D. He truly had many family and friends who loved him dearly. I'm sorry for your loss and and will be lifting you up in prayer. I regret not having known John D better. It was my pleasure to meet all of you. God Bless and Keep you!

Oue prayers and thoughts are with you in your time of loss.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. Psalms 23 John D. was living proof that God answers prayers. He went through more in his 41 years than most people see in a lifetime, but he always seemed to bounce back. We take comfort knowing that he is with the Lord, all the scars this world left on him are gone. We will never stop missing and loving him. Danny, Amy, & Family

My deepest sympathies to the entire family at this time in your lives. But most of all to my son, John David, for losing his Dad at such an early age. And to Bridgette, who will carry the responsibility of raising Naomi without her Dad, and to Naomi, who will never have the opportunity to know her Dad, as John David got to know him. But, I pray there will always be plenty of family and friends to share the memories of her Dad with her, especially her older brother, so that she will know him, too. God bless you all, Jan

John was a great brother that I will dearly miss him.
