Ralph Mitchell, 78, of Saratoga died Thursday, June 28, 2007 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. Ralph was born October 19, 1928 to Lonnie and Bertie (Moore) Mitchell in Houston, Texas. He was a resident of Saratoga for 38 years and was a retired electrical wholesaler.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Saratoga; son, Ralph Mitchell, Jr. and his wife Ernestine of Warren; daughters, Arlette Collins of Beaumont, Patricia Ferguson of Saratoga, and Nancy LaRue and her husband Larry of Katy; brother, Paul Mitchell and his wife Sandy of Jersey Village, Texas; grandchildren, Jason Collins and his wife Tracee and Jeff Collins all of Beaumont, Brandon Thompson and his wife Judy of Pearland, Cody Ferguson of Saratoga, Ralph Mitchell III (Trae) and Ernest Mitchell both of Warren, Ashley LaRue of College Station, Randall LaRue and his wife Lindsey of Derby, Kansas, and Lonnie LaRue of Katy; and great-grandson, Jonah LaRue of Derby Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his son, Lonnie Mitchell.
Graveside services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Oilfield Cemetery in Saratoga with Reverend Jacob Connor officiating under the direction of Broussards in Kountze. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 12:00 noon until time of service at the graveside.
