I just found out tonight about Shelton's passing. We were friends with both Shelton and Jimmy many years back. We send our deepest sympathies to the family, and may God bless you.

Shelton will be missed by all. I knew Shelton back in the seventies, when I was, at the time, married to "Turtle" Brian Holst. We spent many evenings with him. Alice Keith Park was everyone's favorite hangout including my now husband,of 24yrs, Rusty "Onion Head" Wallace. We had some very good times together. My deepest sympathy to all of the family. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all! Donnett Wallace

I was saddened to hear of Shelton moving on. I hadn't seen him for many years, but still remembered him well. Shelton and Jimmy were very close friends of mine, when we were teenagers. I use to play guitar with them upstairs in their room when we were teenagers. We had some really good times that I will never forget. I'm so dismayed that we lost touch with each other. I wonder if his mom will remember removing stitches from my finger that I had got caught in Gary Traylor's Volkswagon engine? That was roughly 40 years ago. He will be missed. My heartfelt condolences to the family. You will be in our prayers and God Bless! Rusty Wallace AKA: Onion Head
