Octavie Bossley Reaux, 88, of Beaumont died Friday, June 22, 2007 at her residence.
A native of Egan, Louisiana and a resident of Beaumont for most of her life, Octavie was a homemaker.
Octavie was preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Reaux; parents, Henry and Mary Bossley; sister, Claudine Duhon; and brother, Gardiner Bossley. She is survived by her sons, Charles Reaux and his wife Shirley of Las Vegas, Nevada, John Reaux and his wife Mary Ellen of Waynesboro, Mississippi, and James Reaux of Beaumont; daughters, Mary Jane Denton of Houston and Helen Tuohy of Garland; sisters-in-law, Virginia Bossley of Alvin and Verdine Barone of Lodi, California; Godchild, Claudia Gaston of Irvine, California; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2007 at St. Pius X Catholic Church with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard, 1605 North Major Drive. A gathering of family and friends will be 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2007 with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
