William “Bill” McDermand, 74, of Sour Lake, died Saturday, June 16, 2007 at The Clairmont in Beaumont.
A native of Orange and resident of Sour Lake most of his life, Bill was a retired musician and teacher. He was an organist for several churches in the area for many years.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Ann Scarborough of Sour Lake; nephews, Troy Crain and Scott Scarborough; nieces, Tamara Grube and Melanie Wells; and several great nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sour Lake under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
Cremations arrangements were handled by Broussard’s.
