Yvonne Carriere, 86 of Port Arthur passed away, Friday, May 18, 2007 at her residence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Monday, May 21, 2007 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with Reverend Shane Baxter officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff memorial park in Port Neches. A scriptural rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM with a gathering of family and friends from 5:00-8:00 PM at Broussard's Mortuary in Nederland.
Mrs. Carriere was a native of Church Point, Louisiana and has lived in the Port Arthur area since 1952. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Curtis Carriere and her son Robert Carriere Sr.
Mrs. Carriere is survived by her three daughters; Barbara Allen and her husband John of Nederland, Nelda Melancon and her husband Winkey of Houston, Wanna Myers and her husband Robert of Orangefield, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
