Dorthy Johnson meant so much to me as a young girl! I was a friend of Anita's but just loved to come over and spend time with Ms Johnson and watch her paint and talk about what she would cook for dinner! She loved her family so much and she was so lively and talented.I hope I see you again Dorothy. Look over me. Love, Cherry

It has been a while since you have been gone. I miss you so much. I miss hearing your laugh, and miss what you always have to say. I bought a pair of shoes the other day and can only imagine what you would say about them! I am sure I will get an earfull or two when I get to see you again. Tell my Daddy I said hi and I miss him too. Please both of you watch over all of us, and keep us all safe.

Yesterday we lost someone who was part of our lifes. It will leave an emptiness that will effect us each in different ways. I will remember her fondly as being of great influence in my life , as someone I treasured as a friend and mother-in-law. I couldn't have asked for a better Grandmother for my children. While we mourn our loss , I find comfort in the fact that she is in a better place . I am sure Sput was wating on her and I will see them again.
