Sam Binagia, 89, of Port Neches passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2007 in Christus St. Mary Hospital.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Broussard’s in Nederland at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 1, 2007. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Port Arthur. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 7:00 P.M. Monday, April 30, 2007 at the mortuary.
Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Mary Binagia, and five brothers and sisters. He was retired from Standard Alloy’s in Port Arthur. He was a native of Port Arthur and lived in the Golden Triangle all of his life.
Sam is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ruth Helen Binagia of Port Neches; son, Bryan Binagia and wife Gail of Port Neches; grandchildren, Erin, Rachel, Laura, and Cory Binagia all of Port Neches; brother, Paul Binagia and wife Velma of Groves; sisters, Frances Choate of LA, Mary Ellan Krebs of Groves, Jo Roy of Port Neches; and a host of other relatives and friends.
