Wennette Loftin, 65, of Thicket died Wednesday, April 18, 2007 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. Wennette was born October 30, 1941 in Thicket to James and Katherine (Perkins) Loftin and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her mother and her sister Melba Jeanine Taylor. She is survived by her father, James C. “Jake” Loftin of Thicket; sisters, Annette Cotten and husband Joe, Jeannette Kelley and husband Buddy, and Norma Jo Creel and husband James all of Thicket; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, April 20, 2007 at Broussard’s Chapel, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze with Reverend Don Hinklin officiating followed by burial at Felps Cemetery in Thicket. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, April 19, 2007 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
