Ericka Renee Peterson, 29, passed away at her resident in Nederland on Tuesday, April 17, 2007.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 21, 2007 in the chapel of Broussard's in Nederland. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Port Arthur. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, April 20, 2007 at mortuary.

Ericka was a native of Franklin, Indiana and has lived in the Nederland area for the past 10 years. She was employed as a bartender with Chili’s Grill & Bar in Beaumont.

Ericka is survived by her mother, Grace Stephenson; father, William Peterson; grandmother, Getrudes Lopez; sons, Johnathan DaSilva, Izack Peterson Walker, and Kenton Satcher; sisters, Sherry Bullock and husband Curtis, Elizabeth “Liz” Mollina and Brian Gonzales; brother, Rito Mollina; ex-husband, Jack DaSilva; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Ericka was the first employee I met when I was transferred to the TRH location in Port Arthur. She instantly welcomed me and made me feel I was a new member of a great family. Her infectous smile and down home hospitality was the most genuine I've seen in a long time. Thank you Ericka for making my first day in a new place a lot easier. Love you in my heart always, Mark
