HENRY NEAL THAGARD
Henry Neal Thagard, 78, of Sour Lake died Thursday, April 12, 2007 at his residence. A native of Alabama and resident of the Beaumont area for most of his life, Henry was a retired butcher.
Henry is preceded in death by two sons, Donnie Thagard and Kennie Thagard and is survived by his wife, Audrey Thagard; three daughters, Julie Rios, Cathy Slater, and Nancy Mayers; three step-children, Sandra Trahan, Tommy Trahan, and Jimmy Bird; sister, Jeanette Carnes; ten grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 15, 2007 at Broussard’s Chapel, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at China Cemetery in China, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, April 14, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
