RENEE’ SMITH-PETITT (daughter) Lumberton, TX April 10, 2007
Let me "Thank Broussard's Funeral Home", for the work they have done to have my father listed on their Web Page. They have been wonderful to us in "everyway" that someone could, especially in the Saddest times in our lives... Thank you! __________________________________________________ Daddy you left us almost 4 years ago, and it seems like it was yesterday... There is not a day goes by with out thinking of you, I miss you more and more each day. My life feels empty without you here, making daily phone calls, telling me the Pony's horse races) are on TV (which I never watched), chasing down our Military Retirement Check, giving me orders (which I took ,without even realizing it), I never knew how much my daddy played a roll in my life (my co-dependence on you, and "thought" I was very independent), having to grow up real fast late in life in my 40's , when I "thought" I was already grown up... I can't say enough of how much I miss you and my love for you... I miss you Daddy...Your Daughter, Renee' __________________________________________________ My dearest daddy 'I love you', I think of you each day. I feel your arms around me, that's how I get through my days. Your looking down upon me, to guide me on my way, but its very hard without you, each and every day. People always tell me, the grieving will subside. But how can it get better, without you by my side. No matter how hard they try, to help me with this pain, I am all consumed by thinking, It will never be the same. I know one day we'll meet, in the Heavens up above. It's the one thing that helps me, to never forget your love. My dearest Daddy, I love you, Your with me every day. I will keep this love within me, until that beautiful day...
