Jeanette Christine Warner, 67, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2007 in Augusta, Georgia following a brief illness.
She is survived by her mother, Stella Melder, of Beaumont, Texas; three sons, Donnie Warner and his wife Tressa, Joey Warner and his wife Julie of Beaumont, and Paul Warner and his wife Traci of Houston, Texas. She also had six grandchildren, Kristen Warner, Preston Warner, Tiffany Schwartzenburg, and Jake Warner, all of Beaumont, and Garrett Warner and Lindsey Warner of Houston, Texas.
She was born on September 2, 1939 in Shreveport, Louisiana. After raising her three boys in Beaumont, she moved to Aiken, South Carolina, where she began a second career in sales with The Carpet Shop. Her family, many friends, and co-workers will remember her not only for her
independent spirit and determination, but also for her strong personality, sharp wit, and devotion to her lifelong love of duplicate contract bridge.
Following a private graveside service at Magnolia Cemetery, a memorial service will be held at Broussard’s Mortuary, 1605 N. Major Drive, Beaumont, Texas, on April 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. A memorial service will be held May 12, 2007 at 6 pm in the Evans facility of Platt's Funeral Home.in Augusta, Georgia
