Hung Van Nguyen, 61, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur.
A native of Quang Bienh, Vietnam and resident of Beaumont/Port Arthur since area 1976, Mr. Nguyen was a heavy machine operator with Redwine Equipment Service.
Survivors include his wife, Khai Thi Nguyen of Beaumont; sons, Thach Nguyen and his wife Kim Nguyen, Phung Nguyen and his wife Cindy Nguyen, Lan Nguyen and his fiancé Regina Martin and Quoc Nguyen; daughters, Duyen Wolken and her husband Lance Wolken and Canh Edwards and her husband Al Edwards; grandchildren, Ty Jordan Nguyen, Brandon Joseph Nguyen, Andrew-Hai Q. Nguyen, Lia-Mai T. Nguyen, Jonathan Wolken, Megan Wolken and Elijah Edwards; father, Quynh Van Nguyen, brothers, Ai Van Nguyen and Tinh Van Nugyen; and sisters, Lê T. Nguyen, Huê T. Nguyen, Thính T. Nguyen and Tinh T. Nguyen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. Prayer services will be 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2007 and Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the Mortuary and 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2007 at the church.
