Estus Speights, 91, of Hankamer passed away June 5, 2004.
Funeral Services will be 2:00pm Saturday, June 12, 2004 at St. Mary’s Baptist church in Hankamer with burial in Whittington Cemetery. A visitation will be at the church starting at 12:00 pm until service time.
Mr. Speights is survived by his wife, Emma; daughters, Erma Johnson and husband Rodney of Ontario, California, Glenda Blue of Hankamer, two sons, Estus Speights, Jr. and wife Sandra, Quedlus Speights and wife Carolyn all of Hankamer, three sister-in-laws, Vera Speights, Olivia Speights, and Ola M. Thomas; special daughters, Gussie Hill of Baytown, Rosetta Raymond of Wallisville; special friends, Robert Williams, Alfred Speights; eight grandsons, eight granddaughters, thirty two great grandchildren, one great great grandson, and two God- children. He also left a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, friends and neighbors.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Quedlus Speights, Roger Speights, Marcellous Speights; sister, Francis Rivon; son, Denny Speights; son-in-law Lee H. Blue, Sr.; sister-in-laws, Chaney Speights, Dora Morris, brother-in-law, Ocie Rivon, Sr., great granddaughter, Annia Johnson; and step- grandson, Brodrick Daniels.
