Regina, I have been praying for you and thinking of you constantly these past few weeks. I know time must feel like it is standing still, or at least it must feel that it should stand still because how can the world keep turning without your Ricky.? I know your heart is full of sadness for Quentin and how much he will miss his daddy. It is not easy to raise boys without their dad, but you can and you will do it, with God's love and strength and with the incredible love and strength of your family and friends. You are blessed with an amazing support system that you can lean on anytime, and although it may not feel like it now, a time will come where each day is less painful than the last and the healing can happen. I have learned to believe that we are not given trials that it is not within us to get through, although at times it may seem too much to handle. The love you have for your child will bolster your strength and iron will and you will then find a deep abiding strength within yourself that you may have otherwise never knew existed. These things I know because you are like me, you are your mom's daughter and you can do ANYTHING. You are loved dearly and in our prayers daily. Love, Layne and family
