Another Mother's day without you...I thought it would get easier but it hasn't. There is so much that I would like to talk to you about....but your not here. Thinking back on the day I had to let you go....I wish I could have held onto you longer. I miss you so much mom....

Two years ago today God called you home. It sounds really selfish of me but I would have gave the world to have you back. Mom....I hurt without you! It's like last night I re-lived the moments that lead up to you being called home. I wish I could hold you one more time and show you how much I love you.I thought maybe it would get easier....but it just keeps getting harder. I MISS YOU MOM.

Mom....I miss you so much! On the 23rd of this month will make two years since God called you home. People kept telling me that it would get easier with time.....but it just gets harder. I still think about what I could have done better or what I should have done. But what gives me strength is knowing that I was there with you tell the end. I love you mom......and can't wait till the day God calls me home to be with you.

would come out. I wanted to tell you how sorry I am
about your Mom. She was a great friend to me. We all have
so many great memories together. I wanted to tell you what a
beautiful woman you have become, but I was speechless!
The letters that you have posted here to your Mother touched
me deeply. I lost my Mom in '06 and I understand what you
are going through. I know it is rough for you. It's so hard when you really want or need to talk to your Mom and you can't just pick up the phone. I know you feel her there with you at times, as I do with my Mom. Keep talking to her and know that she is hearing you and that she is OK.

Sunday made a year since you have been gone. I went and put flowers on your grave and saw the girls. I know you happy to see all 4 of us together. There has been alot of changes within the family since that day God called you home. I know you see what is going on and understand my reason for staying away. I love you and miss you mom. I try to stay strong for my kids but the whole time I’m crying inside. No one understands how much I hurt. It’s so easy for everyone to say, “She is in a better place” I know that but it still doesn’t make it easier! I think back on how strong of a woman you were. Even though you were in so much pain you sure did a good job of hiding it. I’ve learned a lot from you momma. That’s why I live everyday knowing that you would be proud of all the things that I have accomplished in my life.

Day by day I think of you, How can all of this be true? I can't believe you're really gone, I still can't accept it, Even after so long. I miss you already momma. I keep waiting for you to call me and tell me it was all a joke. I don't want to believe that your gone, but atleast I know that I was there holding your hand when you took your last breath. I will always remember when I called Brother Stancil and Wendy Mullins to come pray with you. I was so scared that they weren't gonna get to the hospital in time. But by the grace of god they did. I have comfort now knowing that you heard the word of god before you left to be with him. I will always remember that Joni (moms best friend) told me that I needed to tell you that I love you and it was okay to go. So right after they finished praying for you, I then told you "Momma I love you and it's okay for you to go now" and then I watched as you took your last breath!! We did not see Carol often over the years because of the distance. We still loved her and will continue to remember the good times. Carol had rough bumps in her life but she over came them all. I know she was a good mother, grandmother and wife. God be with each of you in your grief and the coming years.
