Rita LeMaire Horn, 74, of Gilchrist, Texas, died Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Village Creek Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Lumberton.

Survivors include her husband, Billy K. Horn; sons, Kirk Horn and wife Shirley and Ed Horn and wife Yvette all of Lumberton; grandchildren, Angela Horn, Edmund Horn, and Cierra Horn all of Lumberton; sisters, Mary Ann Montalbano, Dot Jacobs, and Valarie Mullally.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Graveside service will be Saturday, March 24, 2007, 11:00 a.m. at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont.

Billy, Kirk, and Ed, I am so sad to hear of your loss. I have so many good memories of Rita during my childhood. She (and your grandmother) were so good to all of us. I can still picture Rita, your grandmother, and my mother at the back fence talking, telling stories, and laughing. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
