Evelyn Trahan, 61 of Nederland went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, March 13, 2007.
A celebration of life for Evelyn will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. in the Full Gospel Christian Center, Port Arthur with Brother Gary Ladd officiating. Visitation will be Friday evening March 16, 2007 at Broussard’s in Nederland from 5:00-8:00P.M.
She was a native of Oakland, California and has lived in the Nederland area for the past 37 years. As a homemaker, Evelyn enjoyed her days caring for her husband and two children.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alton Trahan, Jr.; parents Edith and Elmo Smith, Sr. and brother Elmo Smith, Jr. Mrs. Trahan is survived by her daughter Paula Wofford and husband Ellis of Baytown, Texas; son Charles Trahan of Nederland, Texas and granddaughter Brittany Wofford of Baytown, Texas.
Pallbearers for Evelyn Trahan's funeral will include Byron Trahan, Scott Trahan, George Smith, Donald Foster, Ronnie Richards and serving as honorary pallbearer, Ralph Trahan.
