Wilbert A. “Buster” Davis, 89, of Port Arthur, passed away Saturday March 10, 2007 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at St. Marks Episcopal Church in Beaumont. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday March 13, 2007 at Broussard’s in Nederland.
Mr. Davis was a native of Lebanon, Missouri and lived in Port Arthur for 77 years. He retired from Straus-Frank auto parts distributors as a counter salesman after 25 years of service. He was an Army veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his sisters, Juanita Pauline Deaver of Port Arthur; Claudia “Bonnie” Broussard of Port Arthur; Patsy Jean Thomas of Houston; Betty Sue Ratcliff and her husband Paul of Nederland and Vivian Escagne and her husband Irving of Port Neches. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wife, Louise and his two sisters, Grace Louise Pritchett and Anna Mae “Midge” Guy.
