I didn't know about Chris until today when I saw the paper. I'm very saddened to hear about the loss of Chris. I remember him riding his bike around the neighborhood when he was a little boy and walking down the street when he was older. When he became a young man, I would see him around town. He was always friendly. The last time I saw him was probably about a year ago. I was at a friend's son's wedding. Chris came over to our pew just to speak. I saw him in an elevator at the hospital one time. I could tell that he was not feeling well at all, but he was still smiling and friendly. Wilma and boys, may God give you peace during this time.

Dear Wilma and sons, Chris's photo is the same adorable face I remembered all these years. I recently found pics of all of them as kids. Praying for you and your family. Chris is now an angel on your shoulder guiding you daily. Much love and fond memories, Karen and Cade Buckner
