Dear Peyton and Kacy and family, Paul and I are in Houston at the present time and were unable to get back to Beaumont for your mother's services. We have such great memories of Charlotte, which started when I called her for help on a Beaumont Civic Ballet project at least 25 years ago. The years heve flown by, and now you girls are no longer budding ballerina's, but loving, nurturing mothers like your mom. I know she taught you well! I lost my mother when I was twent-eight-years old, so I know the void that will be in your lives as you rear your children without her support here on this earth. She will be with you though, in a way that none of us who are left behind fully understand. We send our love and prayers, Carole and Paul Mattingly

Dear Kacy and Peyton, I am deeply sorry for your lose. I have so many found memories of your mother. On the wall of my bedroom in my parents house still hangs a needle point, that I am sure was all her doing. "When I grow up big and tall I'll remember you best of all". It is with great affection and deep admiration that I remember her as I am now big and tall. I love you both, Kortney
