Vernon Lee Johnston, 53 of Hamshire, died February 16, 2007 at his residence.
Funeral services were 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 20, 2007 at the First Baptist Church of Hamshire with burial in Broussard’s Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Winnie.
Mr. Johnston is survived by his mother, Bertie Mae Miller of Hamshire; son, Ben Johnston and his wife, Jennifer of Springfield, TN; daughters, Holly Blake and her husband, Clinton of Ashland City, TN., Rachael Goodwin and her husband, Jamie of Hendersonville, TN.; brothers, Leland Johnston and his wife, Sherry of Winchester, VA., Frank Johnston and his wife, Ruth of Ellisville, MS., Ben Johnston and his wife, Nell of Eunice, LA., Keith Johnston and his wife, Rebecca of Hamshire; grandchildren, Shelby Blake, Ashley Blake, Allison Blake, Tyler Blake, Jacob Goodwin, Mallory Johnston and Avery Johnston.
