William Robert “Bill” Martindale Sr., 83, of Nederland, passed away, Sunday, February 17, 2007 at Senior Rehab Nursing Center in Port Arthur.
Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of Broussard's in Nederland at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 21, 2007, interment will follow in Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday evening at the mortuary.
He was a native of Beaumont and lived most of his life in Nederland. He retired from Mobil Oil after 43 years as a supervisor. Bill was an avid fisherman. He was a member of Nederland Christian Church.
Mr. Martindale is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley Martindale of Nederland; son, William Robert Martindale Jr. and wife Melody of Nederland; grandchildren, Kathryn Martindale of Nederland, Andrew Martindale of Nederland; dear friend, Debbie Dean, and a host of other relatives and friends.
