Mary Ora McBride Talbot, 93 of Port Arthur, passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Magnolia Manor in Groves.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland at 10:00 on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 with Reverend Louis Delarue officiating. A gathering of family and friends to be from 5 to 8 PM Monday evening at Broussard’s in Nederland, with a Rosary recited at 6:00 pm. All arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s.
Mrs. Talbot was a native of Port Barre, Louisiana, however lived most of her life in the Mid County area. She was retired from the PN-G ISD as a custodian.
Mary was proceeded in death by her husband, Stanley P. Talbot, daughter, Betty Talbot, son, Jim Talbot, granddaughter, Marla Talbot and grandson, Sean Talbot.
She is survived by son, Jerry P. Talbot and wife Patsy of Houston, four daughters, Myrna L. McDonald and husband Wayne of Newton, Linda A. Mason of Nederland, Mary Kay Thigpen and husband James of LaBelle, Bonnie J. Richard and husband Donnie of Port Arthur, brother, Aaron “Buddy” McBride of Port Neches, three sisters, Annie Guidry of Port Neches, Ena Prejean of Orange, Clara Nolan of Orange, nineteen Grandchildren, thirty two Great Grandchildren and four Great Great Grandchildren.
