Margaret Ruth Spittler, 78, of Nederland passed away on Monday, February 05, 2007 at Cypress Glen Nursing Home in Port Arthur.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 8, 2007 in the chapel of Broussard’s in Nederland. Interment will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends to be from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday evening at the mortuary.
She was a native of Cooks Point, Texas and lived most of her life in Nederland. She retired from Port Neches Cleaners. She was a member of Nederland Christian Church.
Mrs. Spittler was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Lee Roy Spittler. Her sister, Annie Spittler and brother, Antone Marek.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Patsy Stegemoller and husband Louis of Nederland. Sons, Wayne Spittler and wife Debbie of Nederland, Lynn Spittler and wife Mandy of Nederland; sister, Emily Loehr of Cooks Point, Texas; brother, Willie Marek of Caldwell, Texas; six grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and a host of other relatives and friends.
