William R. Spencer, Jr.
William R. Spencer.Jr., 85of Winnie, died February 2, 2007 at his residence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Monday in St. Louis Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Dr. in Winnie. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home, with a rosary recited at 5:00 p.m.
Mr. Spencer was a life long resident of Winnie and was a retired farmer and rancher.
He is survived by his wife Christine Spencer of Winnie; daughters, Carolyn Menard and her husband Glenn, Annette Johnson and her husband, Mike, all of Winnie, and
Suzette Betts and her husband, Darrell of Houston; brother John Spencer and his wife Faith, of Shelton, Washington; four nephews, one niece, 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
