Mark Ryan Hernandez, 34, of Nederland, Texas died on Sunday, January 28, 2007 from injures due to an automobile accident.
Mark was born on September 19, 1972 in Port Arthur, Texas. He was a 1991 graduate of Nederland High School and also a 1999 graduate of Lamar University. While attending Lamar, Mark was president of the Young Democrats. Mark was employed with the Ehrart School in Beaumont. He was also employed by his second family at the Schooner Restaurant. Mark was a lifelong resident of Nederland as well as a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Port Neches.
Mark is survived by his beloved parents, Richard and Angel Hernandez; sister, Andrea Harrington and her husband Kris; his beloved nephew, Anthony Harrington; and his grandmother, Sue Hernandez all of Nederland. Mark is also survived by his beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert A. Hernandez, and Felipe and Elvira Vergara.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 from 5 to 8 PM at Broussard’s in Nederland. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Port Neches with Dr. David Mahfouz officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
In lieu of flowers the family request that a contribution be made to the First Baptist Church of Port Neches, building fund.
