Ruth Guynes, 75, of Fannett, passed away, Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Promise Specialty Hospital in Nederland.
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends to be from 5 to 8 PM Friday evening at the mortuary.
Mrs.Guynes was a native of Eunice, Louisiana and has lived in this area since 1980. She retired as a bookkeeper with National Linen Company.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Guynes and her son Randy Puckitt.
She is survived by her two sons, Terry Broussard of Fannett, Jay Guynes and his wife Stacey of Cyfair, sister, Melina Manning of Nederland, brother, J.D. Matt and his wife Debbie of Nederland, five grandchildren, Tammi Westbrooks, Tanya McGaha, Pamela Puckitt-Bravine, Jake Guynes, Hayden Guynes and five great grandchildren.
