Juanita Perkins, 82, of Nederland, passed away, Tuesday January 23, 2007 at the Promise Specialty Hospital in Nederland.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 26, 2007 at the First Church of God, 3800 Jimmy Johnson, Port Arthur with Pastor Bob Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Thursday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Perkins was a native of DeQuincy, Louisiana and lived in Nederland for 60 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God in Port Arthur.
Mrs. Perkins was preceded in death by her husband, B.E. Perkins, her daughter, Roxie Perkins, and her son, Steve Perkins. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Sue Perkins of Nederland, and her son-in-law Raymond Ramirez of Port Arthur; four grandchildren, Randy Perkins, Gary Perkins, Ryan Ramirez, and Reagan Ramirez; six great grandchildren, Tyler Ramirez, Rae Ann Ramirez, Kobe Ramirez, Justice Ramirez, Brie-Anne Perkins, and Hayden Perkins.
