Howard Watson, 85, of Beaumont died Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.
A native of Saratoga and a lifelong resident of the Beaumont area, Howard was a retired operator for Union Oil. He also served in the Navy during World War II as a radioman.
Howard is survived by his wife, Dorothy Watson of Bevil Oaks; son, Gary Watson and wife Audrey of Bevil Oaks; grandson, Jeremy Watson of Beaumont; nephews, Donald Kidd and Arnold Kidd; nieces, Shirley Abbo, Linda Kidd, and Dianne Peterman; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, with a graveside service at 4:00 p.m. at Holly Grove Cemetery in Holly Grove. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, January 23, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
