Agustin Magdaleno, 96, of Beaumont, died Sunday, January 21, 2007.
A native of La Piedad Michoacan, Mexico and resident of Beaumont for eight years, Agustin was a retired groundskeeper at Beaumont Country Club.
Survivors include his daughters, Amparo Magdaleno and Raquel Magdaleno both of Mexico, Petra Magdaleno, Carmen Magdaleno and Juanita Magdaleno all of Beaumont; sons, Manuel Magdaleno of Silsbee, Andres Magdaleno of Beaumont and Luis Magdaleno of Texas City; sisters, Elena Magdaleno and Carmen Magdaleno both of Mexico City; brothers, Roberto Magdaleno and Dolores Magdaleno both of la Piedad Michoacan, Mexico; sixty-nine grandchildren; and one hundred and twenty great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A Rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at the Mortuary.
