Betty Frances Stockton, 72, went to be with the Lord peacefully on Tuesday, May 11, 2004. She was a native of Jacksonville, Texas and a resident of Beaumont for 47 years.
Mrs. Stockton was a retired member of the National and Texas Association of Realtors and was the former owner of Stockton Real Estate Corporation.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 55 years, Nolan “Buddy” Stockton; sons, David Patrick Stockton and his wife Susan and Eddie Stockton and his wife Vickie; daughter-in-law, Cathie Gross Stockton; grandchildren, Amy Comeaux, Patrick Stockton, Amber Simmons, Jake Stockton, Courtnay Stockton, Bart Stockton, Ben Stockton, Britney Maxfield, Ashley Vasquez and Kelsey Jones.
Betty’s love of children was also blessed with six great-grandchildren, six nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry N. Stockton in February 2003 and her mother Geneva Dee Pierce in March 2004.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 14, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery. The family will welcome friends in visitation Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
