Dear Max and family, Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your son. I have 2 daughters, ages 20 and 17. There are no words that I can find which will soothe your shattered hearts. I do want to share an experience from 1983. One of my good friends from college was diagnosed with Hodgkins at the age of 25. She was the "good" girl, never drank, smoked etc. At her funeral, the Rabbi said that Celia asked him "why, why me?" The Rabbi said there was no reason other than life is full of imperfections and her dying was one such imperfection. All of you are in my prayers and thoughts. Max, we have known each other since grade school and I know it must be so hard to say good bye to someone you loved so much. I pray that God gives you blessings of peace and serenity, Marcia Diamond Sherman
