Irma Creswell of Nederland, passed away Monday, December 4, 2006 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont at the age of 83.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, December 8, 2006 at the First United Methodist Church in Nederland with Rev. Malcolm Monroe officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Thursday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Creswell was a native and lifelong resident of the Port Arthur and Nederland area. She retired from Christus Hospital St. Mary in Port Arthur as a License Vocational Nurse with 37 years of service. She was also active member of First United Methodist Church in Nederland.
Mrs. Creswell is survived by her daughters, Arlene Vandal and husband Terry of Kingwood, and Julie McKnight of Greensbourgh, North Carolina; one brother, Melvin E. Schell of Little Cypress; two grandchildren, Amy Thompson of Huffman, and Allison Vandal of Portland, Oregon.
