David Allen Block 47, of Nederland passed away, Monday,December 4, 2006 at his residence.
Mr. Block was a native and lifelong resident of Pt. Arthur, and a deck hand on a crew boat.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Mr. Block is survived by his mother and step-father, Loretta and Jerry Richards of Pt. Neches; two daughters, Amanda and Catherine Block of Nederland; one son, Michael Block of Nederland; three grandchildren, Andrew, Kobe, and Hayden; one brother, Darrin Richards and wife Ashli of Pt. Neches; one sister, Denise Stephens and husband Mickey of Groves and his good friend, Walter Schermerhorn.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 P.M. Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at the Mortuary.
Services will be at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, December 7, 2006 at Broussard’s Mortuary Chapel in Nederland with the Rev. Michael Osborne officiating.
