Alfred T. “Al” Underwood III, 50, of Houston, died Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at LBJ Hospital in Houston.

A native of Beaumont and resident of the area many years, Al had resided Houston for the last few years.

His father, Alfred T. Underwood, Jr.; and sister, Lisa Underwood preceded him death.

Survivors include his mother, Bunny Underwood of Lufkin; and two nephews.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

the obituary says survived by two nephews when in reality it is a nephew William John Wagner and a niece Catherine Elisabeth Wagner. I am the former brother-in-law. I wanted to clarify in case anyone was doing genealogy work.

I learned of Al's passing today 9/14/2013. Al was my first friend when I moved to Beaumont. I have many fond memories Al and his family from our teen years.
