Rowena Frances Dupuis, 52, of Port Neches, passed away Friday, December 1, 2006 in Port Neches from injuries due to an automobile accident.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches with Rev. Bennie Patillo officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Monday evening at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 2006 Nall Street, in Port Neches, with a Christian Vigil to be held at 5:30 at the Church.
Rowena was a native of Orange, and lived in the Port Neches area for most of her life. She was employed as a hairdresser with Bonnie’s Hair Studio in Nederland, and was an active member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches.
Rowena was preceded in death by her father, Owen Myers, and her sister, Patricia Gibson. She is survived by her husband, Larry Dupuis of Port Neches; mother, Ruby Myers of Port Neches; one son, Gene Dupuis of Houston; one sister, Martha Petit and her husband Louis of Texas City; one brother, Darwin Myers and his wife Donna of Corsicana. Also several nieces and nephew.
