Nelda Whitfill, 75 of Nederland, passed away, Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 2, 2006 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Nederland with Reverend Dr. David Higgs officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be 5-8 pm Friday at the mortuary.
Nelda was a native of Floydada, Texas and has lived in the Nederland area since 1957. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Nederland.
She is survived by her son Gary Whitfill and his wife Debbie of Nederland, daughter Cindy Colichia and her husband Kirk of Nederland, brother, Guy Ginn of Floydada, four grandchildren, Erin Malone and her husband Kevin, Travis Whitfill, Kristen Colichia, Jordan Colichia, great grandson Caleb Malone and daughter-in-law, Marie Whitfill of Nederland.
