Mary Dover Klein, 87, of Houston died November 24, 2006 at Vosswood Nursing Home in Houston. She resided and was educated in Beaumont before moving to Houston. While in Beaumont, she was active in the Lamar Drama Club and later involved with religious, community, and civic activities in Houston. She was a loving mother to her son, Robert, was an excellent cook, enjoyed reading and playing card games with friends.
Her husband, Irving Klein, preceded Mary in death. She is survived by her son, Robert L. Klein of Dallas; brother, Frank Dover and his wife Annette of Houston; and nieces, Janet Holliday and her husband Rob of San Antonio, Joan Katz and her husband Howard of Fort Worth, Carolyn Bernell and her husband Ron of Houston, and Bobbie Bernay and her husband Cliff of Las Vegas.
Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2006 at Hebrew Rest Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
