Martha Nell Saleme, 61, of Beaumont died Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2004 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday evening, June 3, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
A native of Sturgis, Mississippi, she was a lifelong resident of Beaumont. In her free time, Martha loved to go bowling and gambling. She relaxed by reading a good book and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Saleme, Jr. of Beaumont; children, Cathy Tanner and her husband, Carlton and Samuel Rayner and his wife, Wanda, all of Beaumont; Michael Rayner and his wife, Maryjane of Fort Worth; Melissa Gallier and her husband, David of Beaumont; Janet Raines and her husband, Michael of Georgia, David Saleme and his wife, Roxanne of Tulsa, Oklahoma; James Saleme and his wife, Cheryl, and Andrea Saleme Aran, also of Beaumont; mother, Nannie Barron; grandchildren, Robert Rayner, Danee Rayner, Christopher Bloodworth, Katie Robles Garrett, Staci Robles, Hunter Rayner, Janelle Wortz, Melanie Raines, Camilla Saleme, Carmen Saleme, Jarrett Saleme, Julia Saleme, Wade Aran and Drue Aran; four great-grandchildren; six sisters; one brother; and many other loving family members.
