Carlos Travis Trapp
Carlos Travis Trapp, 69, of Port Arthur passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2006 in Promise Specialty Hospital of Southeast Texas in Nederland.
Travis was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Elizabeth Trapp.
Travis retired from Huntsman as an operator. He lived in the Port Arthur area since 1962.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Central Baptist Church in Port Arthur with Reverend Dr. Phil Sigman officiating, under the direction of Broussard's Mortuary in Nederland. Visitation will begin at 9:00AM with Funeral services beginning at 10:00 A.M. Sunday, November 26, 2006 at Magnolia Baptist Church in Winnsboro, LA. with interment to follow in Harris Cemetery in Winnsboro, LA. under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home. A gathering of the family and friends was held in Broussard's Mortuary in Nederland on Friday, November 24, 2006.
He is survived by his daughter, Debbie McCormack and husband Don of League City, TX.; son, Carlos Trapp and wife Barbara of Shirley, AR.; grandchildren, Kayla and Bobby McCormack of League City, Clark and Ginna Trapp of Shirley, AR.; sisters, Carolyn Taylor and husband Reverend Dr. Wilburn Taylor of New Braunfels, Barbara Caldwell of West Monroe, LA.; brother-in-law, Jabo Clark and wife Elaine of Winnsboro, LA.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
