We loved you and pray for Lori and the boys frequently. We trust in the Lord to be their husband and daddy in your absence, Alan.
Even though life took us all in different directions, Alan was a dear friend whom I will miss. I guess I always imagined that there would be more time to reconnect. To Lori and the boys, my heart breaks with yours. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Lori, I just viewed Alan's video and it was beautiful. My prayers are still with you and your family. God bless. Sincerely, Allison Randall
Alan and I were friends in High School through Teens For Christ. I was very thankful for his friendship. I remember riding in his old green Nova and playing a lot of basketball with Alan.
Lori, Tim and I were very sad to here of Alan's passing. We think of the Church family at Western Hills often and remember all of the fun we had together. It seems all of us started our jouney into parenting together and we enjoyed all of the encouragement from each other. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your 4 wonderful boys. We just ask that the Lord give you strength and guidance. Tim, Dawn, Zach and Tyler Bailey
Lori - We are so sorry for your loss. We are praying for you and your family. May God give you comfort and peace.
Lori, You probably don't remember me, but we went to OBU together. I work at OBU now, and was so very sad to hear of Alan's death. I am praying for God's miraculous strength for you and your 4 precious children. Just wanted you to know that you and your family are in so many people's thoughts and prayers. From one OBU family member to another. God bless. Traci

Lori, I have been praying for you and your boys. I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Know that I will continue to do so. You are loved by so many...
Dear Lori, We enjoyed the entire Boyle family as we became friends when we all attended High Plains Baptist Church in Hays. Our children became close friends too. Alan and our two younger sons were in Christian school there. Alan was always a good student, but his gentleness and his kindness to everyone he met left a lasting impression on us all. I can believe that God used him to touch many lives for Jesus. Our family, Carl, Joyce, Ben, Erik, and Owen grieve your loss. We will be praying for the Lord to uphold you.
I worked worked with Alan several years ago and he was one of the kindest, sweetest person's I have ever known.I will miss him.Your family is in my prayers.
Lori, We were saddened to hear of Alan's passing and are praying for you and the boys. Though we haven't seen each other since living in Topeka, we all shared a special bond and great memories while together. Alan was truly a servant of Christ and an inspiration for us all in our Christian walk.
May the God of Hope be with you now and always. We knew Alan and his family through Donise and enjoyed the times they joined us at Glen Elder Friends. We are praying with and for you.
Lori, Karen and I were saddened to learn of Alan's death. He was a generous man and a conspicuous Christ-follower. We have such fond memories of our, albeit brief, journey together with you and Alan at Western Hills church. We love you and wish we could be with you to help bear your grief. Merle and Karen
Dear Lori, The video is so nice. My favorite picture is of you and Alan when he had long hair....how cute! Please let me know how you are doing. I am praying for you and think of you often. Love, Donna
Dear Lori & boys, I just wanted to tell you that we are praying for you during this time. You & Alan will always have a special place in my heart as you have both been my physicians & my Sunday School teachers back in Topeka. I'm happy to know he is at home with our Lord and that we will all get to see him again someday. With love & hugs, Jennifer
Lori, We want you to know how much you, Alan and your family have been in our prayers over the last few weeks. We know without a doubt where Alan is now, and will continue to pray for you always. Your strength and steadfastness has been such a testament to your faith and love--you will never know how many people's lives have been touched by you and your family. We pray that God's Holy Spirit will embrace and surround you. Know that you are LOVED. In Christ, Ernie, Laura, Joshua and Hannah Davis
It was a true blessing to know Alan as an employer, as well as a dear friend. He was a man of great integrity-inside and outside the office. His dry sense of humor always cracked me up, and those memories/stories comfort me today. Thank you for sharing him with us in all the ways you did, and I thank him for sharing his great legacy with us-his friends. Know that we already miss him greatly and that we love you and the boys more than we can express. Sam'
Lori, On Sunday the 19th, Sally and I were just talking about our friends from Topeka and remembering you and Alan specifically. We found out today that Alan had passed away and we are completely heartbroken. We are so sorry and wish we could provide you and your young family with some comfort. Please know that we love you and will pray for you and support you in any way we can.
Lori, I hold you close in my heart and prayers. I've been in your shoes; if you ever need to talk to someone who completely understands, please feel free to call or email. I'll answer as quickly as I receive it. God loves you, we love you. May God hold you in the palm of his hand as you travel through this very difficult time. Loving hugs, Carol Anne Mabson, 830-980-5190

Lori,...I am so saddened to hear of Alan's passing. You two have more of a special place in my heart, life, and mind than likely makes sense. I wish I could do something, anything, to help you and the boys. If there is ANYTHING we CAN do, you must know we will do all that is within our means to do whatever we can. You are in our most sincere prayers and heartfelt thoughts. God Bless and Keep you all.

My heart hurts for you. We seldom see each other, but your family remains special to me. I have been remembering part of a song that the choir use to sing at Calvary when we went there...."When you can't see his hand, trust His heart." Lean on our wonderful, loving Lord. Just curl right up there in his lap and let him hold you. I will continue to pray for you, your boys and your family.
You're all in our prayers at this heartbreaking time!
Lori, I just wanted to let you know I am so sorry to hear of your loss. In the short time I knew him he seemed to be a great guy who sincerely cared about his family, friends, and his relationship with our Lord. He always had a smile on his face which radiated in everyone around him. I am certain he will be missed by more people than you realize. Our sympathy and prayers go out to you and your family. Sincerely, Roger and Judy Taylor
Lori, One thing I've known for a long time, is that you are a very lucky woman to have had a man who loves you as much as Alan. To see the two of you together your feelings were obvious for all to see. I feel truly blessed to have had Alan as a friend and I am so sorry for your loss.
Donise and all your family, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I pray that the God of all comfort will comfort you with the same comfort with which you have comforted others. I love you, Donise.
