Michael Ray Shipp, 22, of Groves, passed away, Sunday November 19, 2006 at his residence.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Friday, November 24, 2006 at Broussard’s Mortuary, 505 12th St., Nederland. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00 – 8:00 PM Thursday evening at the mortuary.
Michael was a native and lifelong resident of Nederland. He was a cement finisher for Van Ray concrete service.
He is was preceded in death by his grandmothers little maw maw Betty Jo Shipp, big maw maw Ruth Coffey, two grandfathers Arthur Lee Shipp, John Beard, uncle Lee Shipp and his nephew Shane Shipp.
He is survived by his father, Van Ray Shipp and wife Sheri Guidry of Groves, mother, Lisa Shipp of Kilgore, two grandmothers, Nell Shipp of Sulphur Spring, Lucy Beard, stepmother, Donna Fay Forster, brother, Van Ray Shipp II of Bandera, four half brothers Paul Garcia of Nederland, David Beard of Texas, CJ White, Josh Walters, half sister, Heather Walters, three uncles, Walter Maraist of Port Arthur, Frankie Sheppard , Jimmy Sheppard, one aunt, Jo Beth Shipp and husband David Hebert of Erath, La. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and entire Lynch family.
