Sandra Elizabeth “Ingie” Brummett Dodds, 53, of Beaumont died Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital Beaumont. She was born on August 15, 1953 to Elizabeth and Samuel Knick in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
She was a resident of Kountze for twelve years before recently moving to Beaumont. She was a retired registered nurse from M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.
She is survived by her husband, Douglas Dodds of Beaumont; children, Cara Anne Collier Brummett of Houston, Keilah Collier Sweeney of Austin, Katherine Brummett Cross and husband Cameron of Kountze, and Rebecca Elizabeth Brummett of Kountze; she was the oldest of ten children; two grandchildren, Narin Rose Cross and Bevan McGavran Cross; ex-husband, Thomas L. Brummett; and her mother-in-law, Cokey Brummett.
Cremation arrangements are being handled under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze.
