I remember John when he was living in a nursing home in Bastrop Texas. He was an interesting guy to talk to.

Enjoyed "Cowboy John's" infectious laugh and corny jokes on Sam & Bob's KVET morning show for many years.

For many weeks, I looked forward to "Cowboy John's" Friday jokes on the Sam and Bob (KVET) morning radio show. That infectious laugh after the punchline of each joke always made me smile and lasted throughout the day. Thanks for sharing and being a part of our lives. You are missed already!
