Ruth Elizabeth Sanford Golden, 78, of Nederland, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2006 at her daughter’s home in Dallas.
A private family service was held Saturday, November 4, 2006 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches with Rev. Gary Ladd officiating. A gathering of Family and friends was held Friday, November 3, 2006 at Broussard’s in Nederland.
Mrs. Golden was a native of and lifelong resident of Nederland. After being a homemaker for many years she retired from the Department of Immigration and Naturalization Services.
Mrs. Golden was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Jimmy” Golden. She is survived by her daughter, Teena Golden of Dallas; her son, Thomas H. Golden Jr. of California; her grandson, Jonathon Causey of Seattle, Washington, and a brother in Nederland, Texas.
